" I have had the pleasure of knowing Angel for two years, our paths crossing at Flatiron School where Angel was an exceptional Senior Lead Instructor and I joined as a Lead Instructor.

Angel has loads of research and UX/UI design expertise. She has contributed toward enhancing the learning experience for every student she has encountered at Flatiron School. I’ve observed Angel in her role, guiding students through an intensive 15-week product design boot camp, both in-person and online, transforming students who know little to nothing about design into skilled, hirable, and successful design professionals.

What truly sets Angel apart, though, is her empathetic nature and her passion for design. She leads her classrooms with her head and her heart, nurturing each student's potential and ensuring that every student acquires the skills they need to craft a meaningful career in product design. Her selflessness and genuine desire for the success of others make her a rare gem in any work environment.

" Angel was my Product Design instructor at Flatiron School. She is AMAZING. She is the type of teacher that puts her whole self into her teaching and her students. She cared about us, she successfully pushed us to achieve more than the curriculum required, and she fostered community amongst us in an online class (in an online class!). By the end of the class we all adored her. Her extensive background in product design, teaching, and tech in general gave us confidence in her advice. She was available if any of us needed help with an assignment and she took the time to give us extra feedback on our portfolios. When I received a job offer, she helped me think through the benefits of the job offer and gave me further advice for the future. I respect Angel deeply and am so glad I was paired with her as an instructor!

" It was an honor to have Angel Wu as my product design teacher. I noticed that she genuinely loved to help her students become better UX/UI designers. There was never a time that she refused to help or offer critique on your work. Even when she had a busy schedule, she would always find a way to make time to converse with you. Her capabilities in her design craft were not only impressive but also very inspiring. Not only that but she was able to bring her students out of the "box" and show them that they are actually capable of doing and becoming more.
